In reading this week, we will continue to read and learn to categorize, classify and learn to question. We will learn how to read and blend words with r clusters. We will also learn about words that contractions with s. Words like it's, who's and where's. Word study will continue as we will pick up the pace and work through one sort a week. This week in writing we will write about our past, present and future. We will create a writing piece and work on it during the writing process.
In math this week, we will work on skip counting by 2, 5, and 10 to 100. We will look at numbers pattern.s We will work on verbally counting and writing our numbers in writing patterns. We will do this through lots of kinestetic activities, reading, and even use Lego's to learn. We will then begin to learn about how to create graphs, read graphs and answer questions about the graphing data.
We will continue to learn about past, present and future. We will learn about how to read a timeline and create one for ourselves. We will also begin to talk about Pilgrims, turkeys and Thanksgiving.
Another great week is upon us and I am looking forward to growing and learning with my wonderful wildcats!
